Australians don't want ‘fluoride’ - but the Government is persistent.

In this posting is a new fluoride update and two videos. I haven’t written much about fluoride lately, but that doesn’t mean I have forgotten about it. To the contrary, thousands of Australians are informed and educated constantly through our Australia wide networks, about this harmful poison the Queensland Labor government put in our water without consulting the people of Queensland. And, come the next state election, a lot more will make an informed decision, who to vote for, and I would like to mention that the gormless Leader of the opposition, JP. Langbroek is totally obsessed with water fluoridation, so there is no use voting for the LNP, at the next election if you are against fluoride in your drinking water, unless they change their policy. - Click on the pictures to enlarge.

We in Queensland just can only wish, that we would also have members of parliament with the intestinal fortitude and come out fighting against this unwelcome act, inflicted on us Queenslanders by our totalitarian government. - Werner

Werner, I’m vehemently opposed to water fluoridation, but it looks that we are between a rock and a hard place as far as the two major political parties go. I know that the Greens are against fluoride, but they are hypocrites and they gave their preferences to the useless Wettenhall and he was returned on the Green preference alone, otherwise we would have gotten rid of him.

Wendy Richardson, as far as I know, is also against water fluoridation and is now a member of the “Queensland Party” and I wonder if they make anti fluoride part of their political platform for the next state election?

Then we have the “North Queensland Party,” but what I have heard is that they do not have the required 500 members and they may not get off the ground. Furthermore, what I’m told is that Robert Pyne, a member of the North Queensland Party, is for water fluoridation. So should they make it as a party, they may not take anti fluoridation on board. I hope that somebody could enlighten me on this subject.

I read with interest the News flash link. They are slowly, ever so slowly waking up about the uselessness and the waste of money of fluoridating all the water, when our democratic right would have demanded to give us a choice and supply children with fluoridated toothpaste – that would have been the better and cheaper option. That Ireland and England are the only two European countries that fluoridate their drinking water is a powerful message, but will our politicians get it? I won’t hold my breath.

Dear B,

No I am not FOR of AGAINST fluoridated water. But I AM for obeying the law and the state has mandated fluoride in the water.

Beatrice Booth is the President of the NQP and should be contacted in relation to policy matters.

I apologise that I can be of no other assistance in relation to this matter.Regards,Rob Pyne.

Rob, I’m flabbergasted. You write: “No I am not FOR or AGAINST fluoridated water. But I AM for obeying the law and the state has mandated fluoride in the water.” What sort of an answer is this? I assume that if Queen Anna mandates that councillors wear top hats and feathers in the backside to council meetings, you would also meekly obey that law?

The mandatory fluoridation of our drinking water was an act of a totalitarian government, which was introduced surreptitiously and without any prior consultation of the population. I know that your father was always against fluoridation and had he still been a councillor he would have spoken out strongly against it and not made a lame excuse like you.

Rob Pyne - Sorry, your argument about obeying the law requiring water fluoridation is completely invalid. If the state mandated adding lead and arsenic to the water, would you blindly obey without objection? Well, in case you're not aware, the government is using a toxic industrial waste product from China to fluoridate our water - and guess what ... it also contains traces of other toxins, such as lead, arsenic, aluminium and so on - so this is in fact what you are condoning.

You are also condoning the state's right to mass medicate the population without our consent, without taking into account dosage (the more you drink, the higher the dose) and without consideration of the prior medical history of each individual. And at least 1% of the population is allergic to fluoride. Oh, and by the way - water fluoridation doesn't even improve dental health.

Please do some research so you might form a valid opinion about fluoridation; and not just by reading the government and Dental Association's outdated propaganda. Then you too might decide to help the fight to repeal this unjust law.

Rob, As you are aware, your father, Tom Pyne, the former mayors of Mulgrave and Cairns, always fought against water fluoridation and was determined that fluoride would never enter Cairns water while ever he was mayor.

And as you know, I am also opposed to water fluoridation and have been a member of the Labor Party for forty years.

However I will not be supporting Anna Bligh at the next State Election as this issue is one of my rights to choose not to be medicated against my will.

Do you believe that I have this right in our Australian democracy?

By placing fluoride in the water supply stops my rights to drink and bathe in water free from a chemical that is deleterious to my health.

I also will not be voting for the LNP as they are also hell bent on forcing this poison on me.

People should remember that fluoride is not just about teeth - It is a whole of body "bad" experience."

I am writing in regard to the North Queensland Party and the stance on fluoride. The members of the NQP are currently developing policy to establish election platforms on this issue and many other issues. This is a grass roots party run by locals for the locals and our process is inclusive in keeping with our charter and constitution. Personally, I am totally against fluoride treatment in the water supply. I have spoken about this publicly already. I urge you to become a member of the NQP to ensure that policy is established to protect this stance on anti-fluoride. I have taken an active part in the North Queensland Party because I do not want to support any political party based in Brisbane and this includes the Queensland Party. The North suffers from chronic neglect and will only secure social equity by holding the balance of power on George Street. There are 14 electorates from the Mackay region north and we have a real opportunity of standing candidates in some of these seats in the upcoming State elections. We are working very hard but your support is critical. Being a member of a political party is not an easy decision but we can assure you that each hard won member is highly valued. I look forward to being at the anti-fluoride gathering on Sunday. See our website at www.northqueenslandparty.org.au

Rob Pyne has become a typical politician and sitting on the fence with one foot on either side of it. Thus, “I’m not for or against fluoride.” Thanks for the laugh, Rob.

The only difference between the toxic waste spill which is devastating parts of Europe and the fluoridated water we are served up as drinking water is that there is more iron in the European product and it is a bit thicker and more concentrated. Funny the news reports don't mention the dreaded fluoride word. I wonder when people will wake up to the fact that we are being poisoned every day, deliberately, albeit less dramatically.
As for Rob Pyne's comment that it is the law, it is a BAD law and MUST be changed
