PETER SPENCER HUNGER STRIKE: DAY 37

Our National Anthem starts, “Australians all let us rejoice, for we are young and free . . .” What is happening to Peter Spencer shows that we are far from free, we are prisoners of our governments. The word “free” in the Anthem could be replaced with any of these words: dictated, manipulated and over-regulated. – Werner Schmidlin

Alastair McRobert:

Peter Spencer is now in day 37 of his hunger strike in passive protest for Farmer Land rights.

Rudd’s office in today’s Sydney Daily Telegraph is quoted as saying: “this matter should be settled through the legal system”.

“I would like to share that Peter has appeared in court regarding this issue upwards of 200 times in the last five years, one can only imagine the mounting legal costs. Justice Rothman J. in the Supreme Court. NSW PJ Spencer v NSW Minister for Climate Change, Environment &Water & Anor” said Alastair McRobert, “Justice Rothman concludes:

Para 83. “However, it is an extremely disheartening and sad occasion that a person, whose life and resources have been placed into rural property for the purposes of conducting a grazing and farming business, has been required to resort to this action.”

Para 84. “Governments not courts make judgments about political policy relating to what, within reason, is for the benefit of the community.”

Para 86. “Nothing in the foregoing is intended as a criticism of either the current State or current Federal Government. These schemes were implemented by previous Governments both Federal and State, with bipartisan support. Nevertheless, it is a most unfortunate aspect of the operation of the scheme that a person in Mr. Spencer’s position is effectively denied proper compensation for the restrictions imposed upon him by a scheme implemented for the public good. As earlier stated, ultimately that is a matter for Government.”

“So essentially, Peter has exhausted the judicial system and was told by the court on this occasion that this is an issue for the Government to address not the court” said Alastair McRobert. “This directly contradicts PM Rudd’s office when quoted saying that this matter should be settled through the legal system”.

“This judgment from Rothman also confirms the collusion of the Federal Government with the State and Territory Governments,” said McRobert. “Tony Burke, Federal Agriculture Minister, Peter Garrett, Federal Environment Minister and Dr. Mike Kelly, Federal Member for Eden Monaro are continually spreading misinformation by saying that this is a State Matter.” “Justice Rothman's conclusion confirms that the Federal Government put a scheme in place with bipartisan support with the Sates and Territories,” said McRobert. “The denial of the Commonwealth’s involvement in the expropriation of Peter Spencer's and other affected farmers property is treasonous; the Commonwealth’s benefit is clearly evident in their official documents.”

The Official Reports under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) reveal that land use, land use change and forestry (Kyoto Protocol clause 3.7 meaning land clearing restrictions can be counted as a reduction in carbon emissions from Australia’s National Carbon Accounts) has been the soul contributor that has allowed Australia to meet the Assigned Amount being 108% of 1990 total carbon emissions by 2012. The effected farmers have foot the bill for the entire 87 Mt CO2-e the only abatement.

According to McRobert, “The effect on these farmers has been enormous, the erosion of family assets, depression, family break-ups, and suicide in some cases.”

Give support to a true blue Australian

While we all enjoy the comfort of our homes and enjoy the company of family and friends, spare a thought and give support to Peter Spencer who is on a hunger strike on a high wind monitoring tower on his property “Saarahnlee”, near Canberra.

Peter has repeatedly vowed not to end the hunger strike until Mr. Rudd agrees to pay himself and other farmers billions of dollars in compensation over land clearing restrictions and the role the restrictions have played in ensuring Australia met Kyoto Protocol carbon emission targets.

Rudd is showing his arrogance and uncaring attitude for the plight of our farmers and Peter. Give this true blue Australian your full support. Rudd has no money for our people, but gives away billions in aid to foreign countries. Charity should start at home. - Werner

We won’t drink Poison! - "The Cairns Post"

Front Page of the Cairns Post, 23.12.09. This should send a powerful message to Bligh and Co, but ignoring messages is one of their trademarks. They have stirred up a hornet’s nest in Cairns and the people of Queensland are finally waking up, a bit late, but nevertheless they are starting to realize what is being done to them by this government. - Werner - Click on picture to enlarge!

Christmas rush on water filters for fluoride.
By Daniel Bateman, batemand@tcp.newsltd.com.au

CAIRNS residents
are giving each other water filters as Christmas presents in a rush before the Far North's water supply is permanently fluoridated.

Shopkeepers say they have been rushed off their feet with sales of filters to residents concerned about the effects fluoridated water may have upon their health.

An average ceramic water filter has been selling for about $345, while reverse osmosis systems retail for $800, and distilling units about $390.

Owner of Cairns Business Enviromart Australia, Di Creasey, said 95 % of her water filter stock was being sold before it hit the shelves. We have been selling pallet loads every two to three days for the last three weeks before they hit the shelves, Mrs. Creasey said.
“People have been coming in and buying them as Christmas presents.”

Fluoride will be permanently added to the Far North water supply by December 31.

Cairns Regional Council started pumping fluoride into the Tunnel Hill Water Treatment Plant, near Copperlode Dam, on Monday night.

Mrs. Creasey said, many of her customers felt the State Government’s mandate to fluoridate the Far North’s water was undemocratic.

“During the last state election, Anna Bligh really avoided the subject of fluoride,” she said. When she was voted back in, she thanked Queensland for giving her the go ahead for putting fluoride into the water supply "Yet most people feel that they have been ordered to have fluoride in their water without any choice in the matter."

McCracken's Water Services branch manager Jason Stefano said water filters had been "flying out the door". "We've been fielding about 20 calls a day and about 10 people a day coming in about it," Mr. Stefano said.

"It's out of control, to be honest. Fluoride is definitely a huge topic in Cairns." Mr. Stefano urged buyers to do their research before investing in a water filter to ensure it actually filtered out the right chemicals.

Whitfield resident Emma Thirkell, who bought a ceramic water filter last week, said she was concerned about the effects fluoride could have upon her young children.
"I believe that if government creates policy that causes people to suffer, and there are people who have very high sensitivity to fluoride in our community, that they are duly compensated for the suffering," Ms Thirkell said.

"If people are forced to suffer and there is a conscientious objector, I think the Government should be giving out these water filters for free."

Queenslanders for Safe Water, Air and Food co-coordinator Bill Kilvert, said the high rate of water filter sales was indicative of widespread community concern about the fluoride issue.
He said the organization would fight to have fluoride removed from the water supply, even after December 31.

"There are a hell of lot of people who are opposed to fluoride who know that it is bad for everybody, especially children," Mr Kilvert said. "They are trying to overcome this problem."

Fluoride may not be your cup of tea.

PROFESSOR Colin Rix's analogy of fluoride being concentrated in tea in a non-toxic form (19-12-09) is an interesting one and it appears as though he forgot to mention that the effects of fluoride are cumulative.

Even the kind of dosage tea provides is still potentially harmful to the system after a long period of copious ingestion.

But, of course, we are encouraged to drink at least two to three litres of water a day, not tea. On average, only about half the fluoride we ingest each day is said to be excreted through the kidneys.

Ten years ago, UNICEF reported that they could not agree on a single "optimal" level of daily fluoride intake. This is because the nutritional status of individuals varies greatly and, therefore, influences the rate at which fluoride is absorbed by the body.

And, as Mark Diesendorf stated, there are cases of people who are hypersensitive to fluoride.

But whatever the safety or otherwise of even two to three daily cups of tea, the key issue here is one of choice. A person can choose to consume tea or not.

It's harder to argue the same merit with fluoridated municipal water supplies, unless one has invested in filtering equipment such as reverse osmosis or distillation.

This makes opting out an expensive and unnecessary exercise. The merits of long-term ingestion of fluoride in municipal doses appear questionable.

There is far more freedom of choice in opting out of fluoridated toothpaste or tea than there is in opting out of fluoridated town water.

Nobody has died in Townsville or Mareeba . . . .

People from Townsville and Mareeba tell me so often that nobody has died yet from drinking fluoridated water. This may be so; the amount of poison put into the water is not enough to kill, but health problems caused by fluoride intake will eventually do it. We have documented cases in the USA where children have died swallowing the stuff that was topically applied by the dentist, this alone shows how toxic this poison is.

No one can say if Tow
nsville and Mareeba have higher rates of hip fractures or Osteosarcoma, because not a single health and safety check has ever been done in Australia (or the world for that matter) Click on picture to enlarge!

Fluoride does kill people if it causes a percentage of osteosarcoma cases and higher rates of hip fractures. Fluoride consumption long term is associated with an increased rate of hip fractures, which have a high rate of mortality and morbidity in the elderly.

The body cannot get rid of this poison and it is deposited in the bones and other parts of the human body, causing brittle bones in the elderly, arthritis, asthma, problems with the thyroid, kidneys, and osteosarcoma, to name a few. The latter, is a malignant bone tumour; most common in boys and young adults where it tends to affect the femur.

Unfortunately for Australians, doctors would not suspect fluoride would be the underlying cause of death. Most if not all of them, have not been informed about the ill effects of fluoride in the human body.

If we look at the dismal record of Tasmania, which has been fluoridated for 50 years, and according to Anglicare, has the worst tooth decay of the nation and the most people with dentures, this alone speaks volumes about the ineffectiveness of fluoride. However, uppermost in the minds of the Queensland population is the fact that they have been denied the right of choice, which should be at the heart of democracy.

No government Member of Parliament or government bureaucrat has never given a simple straight answer to this question: Why has all the water to be fluoridated, when only a small amount is consumed, and not by those who would need it most, and the rest goes down the drain???

A Professor, Colin Rix from the University of Melbourne and clearly siding with the government didn’t answer the above question either, but he wrote among other things this; I quote:

Dear Werner, “I believe your Government wishes to make available the fluoridated water as the most cost-effective means of providing the whole community with better access to dental health. I agree it won't help anyone with dentures, but it will probably ensure they have strong bones.” Unquote.

Strong bones???? He would have to be joking. Clearly this man doesn’t know what he is talking about. Firstly he couldn’t have read the chart I sent him from the latest research at the Adelaide University. Secondly he couldn’t have read the dismal record of the 50 years of the Tasmanian fluoridation. And thirdly he writes that it will probably ensure they have strong bones.” Probably?? Well he is not sure! When in fact only calcium fluoride strengthens the teeth and the silicofluorides they put into our water does not; in fact it weakens them and makes then brittle. This is, unfortunately, the kinds of people the governments employ to give advice. - Werner

Margaret Philips, from Cairns also wrote to the Professor and got this reply:

Dear Margaret, Thank you for your comments re water fluoridation --as you may have noted, I specifically indicated in my recent interview that I do not doubt that there are some individuals ( like yourself) who have a heightened sensitivity toward fluoride, but it seems there are very people in this category.

I am sorry to hear you have had such a bad experience with fluoride, since my four children have all had excellent dental health as a result of Melbourne's fluoridated water. Moreover, on the basis of properly conducted population studies ( epidemiological studies ) there have been no conclusive links between fluoride ingestion, at the level proposed for your State, and untoward health effects.

Best wishes for Christmas, and I trust you have
a Healthy New Year, Colin Rix Unquote. Colin, do you want to see that fluoride smile? Click in the picture to enlarge.

So Margaret responded the following:

Dear Colin

First of all thank you for your reply. I did not expect one.

I am fascinated by your response. I am not unique!! Asthma incidence in Australia is very high, and growing daily. As is low thyroid function and obesity. I think there are many, many people who are affected, but haven't had the benefit of ever being free of it so they can get some perspective on the matter.

When you are completely well, with good lung capacity, and then you go on holidays, or move house, and are suddenly stricken with 20% lung capacity and are unable to step up two stairs, you start to question the reasons why, especially when you return home and are completely well again within a day or so.

Your justification for mass medication is that your children have good teeth! That is our local politician's excuse also. I have reared 3 children without the poison of fluoride and their teeth are beautiful. About 4 cavities between them, none in baby teeth.

I am especially proud of myself that I resisted the pressure to dose them on fluoride tablets, or fluoride treatments at the dental clinics and that they didn't drink soft drinks or eat many lollies. Good nutrition and good dental care leads to good health, including teeth. My conscience is clear that my children don't have a increasing level of a toxic substance floating about their bodies doing unknown long term damage and causing brittle bones.

As I pointed out in my previous letter, the "fluoride " used in water fluoridation is everything left over from chemical processing of feldspar rocks. Even if the fluoride component is benign, it only accounts for 19% of the substance used in water fluoridation. Do you know what the other ingredients are, or what effects they have on people??

Fluoride is available in forms other than dosing people through the water. Only 1% of the water fluoridated is drunk, while the rest is dumped into the environment. (500 kilos a day per 100 000 people - or 100 mega litres of water).

How do you suggest I, and others similarly afflicted, continue to live in this "Blighted" country?

Merry Xmas to your and your family, - Margaret Phillips Unquote.

There is now no alternative than to get rid of this dictatorial Government in Queensland at the next election, we have to elect as many as possible good independents that will represent us, and not the party in Brisbane so that the LNP, should they win government, would have to rely on the independents to get legislation through. This will be the only way that we, and with the help of people power, will get rid of this insidious poison in our water. Circulate this

Copenhagen a Dead Horse??

News! What a waste of money by the Rudd government in sending 114 delegates to Copenhagen. The carbon footprint for 114 people travelling to Copenhagen and back business class amounts to 1817 tonnes of emissions -- the equivalent to the annual output of 2500 people in Malawi. The list appears to contradict assurances from Kevin Rudd's office last weekend that fewer than 50 federal officials would attend.

If you want to read what "The Australian" had to say, click here. I also question why they had to have this conference in the winter, when a lot of electricity has to be used for heating- Werner

Are Kevin Rudd and Penny Wong flogging a dead horse? If they are, they should read this book by Alison Clark. Click to enlarge picture.

The wisdom of the Dakota Indians says that:

'When you discover that you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount.'

In government however more advanced strategies are often employed, such as:-

Buying a stronger whip.

Changing riders.

Appointing a committee to study the horse.

Visiting other countries to see how other cultures ride dead horses.

Lowering the standards so that dead horses can be included.

Reclassifying the dead horse as 'living impaired.'

Hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse.

Harnessing several dead horses together to increase speed.

Providing funding and/or training to increase dead horse's performance.

Doing a productivity study to see if lighter riders would improve the dead horses performance.

Declaring that as the dead horse does not have to be fed, it is less costly, carries lower overheads and therefore contributes substantially more to the bottom line of the economy than do some other horses.

Rewriting the performance requirements for all horses.

And of course, promoting the dead horse to a supervisory position.

The Great Fluoride Lie and Deception!

The groundswell against mandatory fluoridation of our drinking water is building up in Queensland and elsewhere. Our politicians can’t be trusted anymore. Desley Boyle stated in the Cairns Post that “the State Government was proceeding with fluoridation of water supplies because it believed it reflected the majority view.”

What unmitigated bullshit that is, Desley, and you know it, because your government never asked the people either by referendum or asked for a mandate at an election. See my advert and Letter to the editor in the “Cairns Sun,” from last week, 9.12.09, also see my posting below in this blog.

Following is a very powerful letter written by Brent Melville, from Robina Queensland to Desley Boyle, MP; the Member for Cairns and a minister in the Blight government. -Werner Click on picture to enlarge!

Dear Mrs Boyle:

Sorry to use you as an example, but your cleverly deceptive comments (technically not lying) about fluoridation of water and the dental health of Queensland children epitomize a rottenness in western parliamentary democracy that people are becoming less and less willing to tolerate. States are also becoming less tolerant of dissent and more totalitarian in their approach.

Are you aware Mrs. Boyle that Queensland bureaucrats were caught falsifying dental statistics and a detailed complaint about this was made to the Crime and Misconduct Commission? An investigation, only released after an FOI request, found "incorrect" interpretation of data in regard to tooth decay rates between fluoridated and non-fluoridated areas.

Also Mrs Boyle, why do you so carefully deceive your electorate about 'the majority who support fluoridation'? Did you have a referendum? Isn't it true Mrs Boyle, that the Bligh administration simply pulled the fluoride referendum provision out of the legislation?

Isn't it also true Mrs Boyle that you and other State Labor MPs voted to change the law to allow yourself and other elected representatives to lie to Parliament? Did you consider, Mrs Boyle that lying to Parliament is lying to the people of Queensland?

Mrs. Boyle, you say you "don't see or don't believe" there is evidence of people being harmed by fluoride. Well, have you even looked for evidence Mrs. Boyle?

Do you and the Bligh administration even care about fluoride depositing in children's brains, bones or pineal glands those peer-reviewed scientific studies warn of?

The Europeans ban fluoridation, but our politicians (including the State Opposition Leader) give it glowing approval. What logical explanation can there be for this, Mrs Boyle?

Is this
just a matter of following orders from above? Do you realize Mrs Boyle that you are employed by the people who elected you, and lawfully, you should not be taking orders from anyone else?

Is it not sadly true Mrs Boyle, that the Bligh administration only pretends to listen to people and then practically spits in their faces by refusing to listen or act upon objections to fluoride and refusing to follow plebiscites on local government amalgamations?

Is it not true Mrs. Boyle that you and the Premier actually follow commands issued by the "Directors General" and the "Co-coordinator General" of the State? Is it not true that these chief bureaucrats in turn take orders from UN agencies and global corporate-government think tanks that serve the interests, essentially, of global banks and corporations?

Is it not true Mrs Boyle that your own Labor Party members know this, which is why many of them so strongly oppose State asset sales?

Mrs. Boyle, why do you think Americans are shouting down politicians at town hall meetings? No, it's not nice, it's not polite but do you agree that represents a deep frustration at the subversion of the western parliamentary system by these forces of "global corporate power"?

Is it not true Mrs. Boyle, that merging government and big business is historically a trait of fascism?

Isn't it true Mrs. Boyle, that Mussolini's black-shirt fascism was relatively quaint compared with what you now represent – a modern state, enforced at one level by scientific and systematic propaganda, at another level by bureaucratic harassment, (eg the new enforced Sustainability Declarations, parking tickets, water fines, pet registration and micro chipping, mandatory this and mandatory that) and at another level by armed physical intimidation by black-uniformed SWAT teams?

I'm actually not particularly partisan when it comes to party politics Mrs. Boyle and I know most politicians want to do the right thing, but my hat goes off to the Liberals who voted against the ETS on principle, because their constituents were demanding it. In fact it was a revolutionary act! Politicians carried out the will of the people as they are lawfully and constitutionally obliged to do.

So Mrs Boyle, will you:

(1) Reveal to us who ordered, advocated or lobbied the elected representatives of Queensland to fluoridate the water supply?

(2) Reveal to us why the European decision to ban fluoridation apparently has no substance?

Would it not be unlawful for you Mrs Boyle to disregard these questions? In such a case, would not the people of Queensland be justified in seeking your removal from office as a rogue politician?

Interesting answers to a burning question!

Can a devout Muslim be an Australian/New Zealander/American and a loyal citizen?
This is probably a question many Aussies have asked themselves many times. An Australian who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years was asked the above question and you’ll find his answers below.

However, "You don't have to be a Muslim to make a bad Aussie. Anybody who legislates mandatory poisoning of our drinking water with silicofluoride, a toxic waste product of the fertilizer and aluminium industries, is, as far as I'm concerned, a BAD AUSSIE. What is your opinion on that?" - Werner

* * * * * * * *

Following are the answers to: “Can a devout Muslim be an Australian/New Zealander/American and a loyal citizen?”

Theologically? NO! Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon God of Arabia .

Religiously? – NO! Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam (Koran, 2:256)

Scripturally? - NO! Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Koran.

Geographically? - NO!
Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially? NO!
- Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically? - NO! Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America , the great Satan.

Domestically? - NO! Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife, when she disobeys him (Koran 4:34).

Intellectually? - NO! Because he cannot accept the Australian Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically? - NO! Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Koran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually? NO! Because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as heavenly father, nor is he ever called Love in the Koran's 99 excellent names."

Therefore after much study and deliberation .... perhaps we should be very suspicious of all MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both "good" Muslims and good Australians.

Call it what you wish ...... it's still the truth.

If you find yourself intellectually in agreement with the above statements, perhaps you will share this with your friends. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future. The religious war is bigger and more complex than most Australians currently know or understand.

Anna Bligh’s “Tooth Fairy” has poisoned the Cairns water.

Here is an interesting article. Click on link below..- Werner

Fluoride Causes Premature Births, Brain Degradation, Bone Loss, Cancer and Hormone Disruption

* * * * * *
The people of Cairns are getting an early and, unsolicited “Christmas present” with the compliments of Anna Bligh and the aluminium and fertilizer industry.

Following is the modus operandi of the Bligh government, taken from the book “Mein Kampf.”

"The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly, and with unflagging attention. It must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over... persistence is the first and most important requirement for success. Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it."- Adolf Hitler

"Fluoridation is safe and effective."-

"Fluoridation is safe and effective."

"Fluoridation is safe and effective."
Dr. Michael Foley, Chief Dental Health officer Queensland

The 7.12.09 will be remembered by the Cairns people as black Monday or the F . . . day. This will go into the history books as the day when the Cairns water supply was adulterated with a number 6 poison, namely: Sodium Silicofluoride, a waste product from the aluminium and fertilizer industry.

This is a day when the Bligh government stabbed Democracy into the heart and telling the people to go to hell we know what is best for you and are treated like shit; it is the modus operandi of a dictatorship. This repugnant Queensland Labor government wrongly believes that it will stop tooth decay, when there is overwhelming evidence around the world to the contrary.

Anna Bligh and her cohorts must also believe that fluoride will enhance “denture health” of about one third of the Queensland population that it is good for the water we wash our dishes, our clothes, and shower, flush the toilet, and water the plants. However, the young people who may derive some benefit of fluoridated water – do drink very little or no water at all.

In time, the people will get to know the truth about the ineffectiveness of fluoride against tooth decay and the health problems it can cause - and they will see the folly of their government and will go against it.
Hopefully, future governments come to their senses like most governments in other countries in the world and stop this insidious fluoridation of our water.

Fluoride will go the same way as thalidomide, amalgam tooth fillings, lead in petrol and paint, asbestos, smoking, excess alcohol consumption to name a few, all deemed not to be dangerous to human health, a few years later it was proven otherwise. In time, Anna Bligh will have egg on her face about mandatory fluoridation - there is no doubt about it.

The worst aspect in legislating mandatory fluoridating of our water and, at the same time legislate to protect the government and its members from prosecution should somebody get sick from this poison, is not only cowardly, but abhorrent – and this is an understatement.

The people of Queensland are totally helpless and their cries against fluoridation are just ignored, they are considered as mere imbeciles by this government. The Cairns people cannot look for help or compassion from our, four, supposedly being our representatives in Brisbane, they meekly nod to whatever Anna Bligh dishes out, and in the fashion of the “Paid Piper of Hamelin,” follow her, they are programmed to nod and say “Yes minister.”

Here is an excellent case in point in correspondence between Margaret Phillips and Desley Boyle MP, as you can see there is not a skerrick of compassion shown by Desley Boyle MP for Cairns, to the severe health problem that Margaret is facing by ingesting fluoride. However, Margaret is not alone; there are hundreds of people throughout Queensland who have to suffer from various health problems due to fluoridated water.

It is a prime example of our so-called “Cairns representative,” whose care for the people of Queensland who suffer health problems because of fluoride is zero and they wouldn’t lose any sleep over the blight of these people. Tough luck or too bad for you, is their attitude, you will drink it whether you like it or not.

Here is a Letter to Desley Boyle from Margaret Philips, I Quote:

Dear Ms Boyle,

Thank you for your reply. My views are more than deeply held. I am prostrated by asthma every time I drink fluoridated beverages. I've been experimenting on myself for the past 10 months, and realized that every time I ingested fluoride I have become sick.

The last experiment was 2 weeks ago when I drank one glass of soft drink made in NSW. Three hours after I drank the drink, my lungs tightened and would not relieve with asthma medication. Five days later I could finally breathe easy again.

I reared my children in Queensland and the three of them have pretty good teeth, fluoride free. Has more to do with good nutrition and conscientious dental care. My brother reared his children in Brisbane and his wife was very conscientious about fluoride tablets and they all have dreadful teeth with fluorosis damage.

My sister in law reared her three children in fluoridated Melbourne and the 34 year old has just had all her badly decayed teeth removed, the other two have partial plates and mouths full of mercury. So, anecdotal evidence means little. If fluoride is so great for children's teeth, why do you not pursue the idea of supplying water to schools, or go back to the tablets, or better yet, encourage children to brush their teeth regularly and cut out sugary stuff?

I appreciate the fact that you have deeply held views, but this does not give your government the right to impose your views on others when cheap alternatives are available.I would expect that of all political parties, the Labour Party would be the one to respect the rights of individuals to choose their own medications. - Regards, Margaret Phillips. – Unquote.

* * * * * *
Below is the reply from Desley Boyle the Member for Cairns and a minister in the Queensland government to Margaret Phillip’s letter. As you can see she couldn’t care one bit that Margaret is suffering badly from fluoride ingestion and so are many others. Too bad for you, Margaret, is this minister’s attitude, we fluoridate the water whether you like or not. She didn’t show the slightest bit of sympathy for Margaret’s suffering.

This is a totalitarian government totally devoid of democratic principles - and a disaster for the state of Queensland. I Quote:
* * * * * *
Thank you for your email Margaret,
I know that your feelings opposing fluoridation of our water supply are deeply held, as they are by some others. Equally so, those in favour of fluoridation hold their views strongly. I am in this latter category. I grew up and had my babies in New South Wales.

I know the difference in the dental health of NSW children compared to Queensland children. I've lived up here for ages and I don't see and believe there is any evidence of damage to the people of Mareeba or Townsville who have long had fluoride in their water supplies. The government is proceeding with fluoridation of water supplies and we believe this reflects the majority view. Information is available at Queensland Health's website: * * * * * * * * * * *http://www.health.qld.gov.au/fluoride/water_fluoridation.asp.

And here, Anna, Desley, and Co, you can see the survey that debunks all the bullshit you are trying to tell us about how good the teeth are in the fluoridated states in comparison to Queensland. The truth can hurt, but you ignore the truth. Click on picture to enlarge!

If Desley Boyle thinks that fluoridation is so good, here is the record from Tasmania, and NSW is not far behind, according to an article in the Australian in April 2009. “I quote:

Tasmania has been fluoridated for about 50 years and has one of the most intensive fluoridation schemes. Currently it has 41 fluoridation plants for nearly half a million people, is 83% fluoridated at 1.1ppm with Fluorosilicic Acid and Sodium Fluoride.

A report released 17th Dec 2007 from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare stated: “The highest levels of permanent decay experience were found in Tasmania.”

A Submission to the Senate Select Committee on Medicare by ANGLICARE TASMANIA in July 2003, stated: “Tasmanian adults have the worst dental health in the nation with the highest percentage of edentulous adults per capita with 15.3% of the adult population, compared to the national average of 9.7%. The State also has the highest percentage of persons wearing a denture in the nation, with 11.2% in the 25 – 44 year category, which is almost double the national average.” It is also stated in this report that “Tasmania has had some of the worst health indicators in the nation.” Unquote.

Below is what eminent scientist, ROBERT J. CARTON, PhD, former EPA scientist, 1992, had to say. I quote.

“The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has more than enough evidence to shut down fluoridation right now.” "Fluoridation is the greatest case of scientific fraud of this century.”

“Fluoridation,” says former EPA senior scientist Robert J. Carton, PhD, “presents unacceptable risks to public health, and the government cannot prove its claims of safety. It is clear that fluoride is mutagenic, and that it may well cause cancer. EPA has attempted to silence scientists who do not follow the party line.” And with that, he is just warming up.

“Fluoridation,” he adds, “constitutes unlawful medical research. It is banned in most of Europe; European Union human rights legislation makes it illegal.”

This was an extract from Hansard,.Paul Lucas, Deputy Premier and minister for health said recently in the Queensland Parliament in answer to a question by Independent MP for Nicklin, Peter Wellington, in regards to a four year term for parliament, I quote part of the reply:

"For example, even if we found a loophole to allow us to legislate for four-year fixed terms without a referendum, we should not cut the people out of that decision. These are matters that go to the very heart of our democracy, that is, the way in which the people of Queensland choose their representatives." Unquote.

The Question begs, Mr. Lucas, why did you cut the people out in regards to mandatory water fluoridation? A referendum would also have been at the very heart of democracy.

And finally, do not stake your hopes on the LNP as our saviour, should they become the Qld government, they our suspiciously silent on fluoridation, only people power will eventually prevail and force the government of the day to return to democratic principles and stop fluoridating our water, and by doing so would save the government millions of dollars. - Werner

A thought provoking comment, by Ross Greenwood and Alan Jones.

YOUR FUTURE.....Ross Greenwood of Money News & Alan Jones comment!

Right now the Federal Government is at pains to tell everyone - including us the mug-punters and the International Monetary Fund that it will not exceed its own, self-imposed, borrowing limits.

How much? $200 billion? And here's a worry. If you work in a bank's money market operation; or if you are a politician; the millions turn into billions and it rolls off the tip of the tongue a bit too easily. But every dollar that is borrowed, some time, has to be repaid.

By you, by me and by the rest of the country. Just after 5 o'clock tonight I did a bit of math for Jason Morrison. But it's so staggering its worth repeating now. First though ... here's what Chairman Rudd has been saying about - what he calls - these temporary borrowings.

Remember those words ... temporary deficit. But the total Government debt could end up around $200 billion. So here's a very basic calculation ... I used a home loan calculator to work it out ... it's that simple. $200 billion is $200,000 million. The current 10 year Government bond rate is 4.67 per cent. I worked the loan out over a period of 20 years.

Now here's where it gets scary ... really scary. The repayments on $200 billion come to more than one and a quarter billion dollars. YES, $1,250m- every month - for 20 years. It works out, we - as taxpayers - will be repaying+$15 billion in interest and principal every year ... $733 for every man woman and child - every year. The total interest bill over the 20 years is - get this - $108 billion. Remember, this is a Government that just 18 months ago had NO debt. NO debt. In fact it had enough money to create the Future Fund to pay the future liabilities of public servants' superannuation ... and it had enough to stick $20 billion into the Building Australia Fund last year...

Alan Jones Comment - this is frightening: Hmmmmm??

......... a note that was sent to me which explains to me that the six leading members of the Government from Mr. Rudd down, the top six have a collective work experience of 181 years, but only 13 in the private sector.

If you take out of those 13 years the number that were spent as trade union lawyers that total 11, of the 181 years only two years were spent in the private sector.

So the people who will rack up a net Federal debt of a minimum of $188 billion, the highest in our history, have virtually no experience in business.

So out of 181 years:

- no years spent running their own business
- no years spent starting their own business
- no years spent as a director of a family business or a company
- no years as a director of a public company
- no years in a senior position in a public company
- no years in a senior position in a private company
- no years working in corporate finance
- no years in corporate or business restructuring
- no years working in or with a bank
- no years of experience in the capital markets
- no years in a stock-broking firm
- no years in negotiating debt facilities with banks
- no years running a small business
- no years at the World Bank or IMF or OECD
- no years in Treasury or Finance.

But these people have plunged Australia into unprecedented debt, and now threaten to torpedo employee share schemes, which they plainly don't understand. Well, in a way you can't blame them. It's clear that the electorate did not do their homework, because the Government is there by right.

What Anna Bligh has in store for us Queenslanders.

Anna Bligh’s storeroom is full with painful surprises, all of which will give us a severe pain in our collective back pockets and causing enormous distress to many. But wait, there is more, next week, Monday 7. December 2009, the people of Cairns will be drinking fluoridated water whether they like it or not and, giving a lot of people nasty side effects as well as health problems – Watch this space next week. – Werner

New report: Electricity price hikes hidden in mumbo jumbo!

Bureaucratic mumbo jumbo can’t hide the Bligh Labor Government’s intention to make electricity even more expensive, the Opposition said today. (This is very electrifying! – Werner)

LNP Leader John-Paul Langbroek said the Queensland Competition Authority’s final report into electricity prices made it clear yet another price hike was on the way, with low income and regional electricity consumers expected to receive the worst hit.

“This report states that ‘by providing customers with appropriate price signals regarding the cost of supplying electricity, cost reflective prices will promote the efficient use of electricity’.*

“Essentially this shows Bligh’s plan is to make electricity so expensive that consumers have no choice but to switch off their lights.”

Mr Langbroek said the recommendation to introduce seasonal tariffs on top of increased prices would be a double whammy for consumers - particularly those who followed her government’s advice an installed an air conditioner through the Energex program.

“Anna Bligh must explain her role in the Labor Government’s mass marketing of air conditioners through Energex - did she support this campaign knowing that she would then jack up the price of using an air conditioner during the warmer months?

“The Premier lied when she joined her predecessor Peter Beattie in claims that ‘no one would be worse off’ after electricity deregulation.

“Queenslanders are worse off — particularly low income earners and people living in the regions where electricity suppliers have a monopoly.

“It’s time the Government came up with a plan that didn’t involve Queenslanders sitting in the dark.
